Hi Everyone
We just wanted to catch up & send you a photo of us looking very cool. We have gone on holiday to our new temporary foster home where we are allowed to stay for a while to get used to living in a normal home & keep on with our weight loss program.
We are both members of the Hills Pet Slimmer club & we are trying really hard to get our waist lines back and make everybody proud of us. Our foster parents are really lovely & are keeping us on a pretty strict diet even though we both do that "big brown eyes" look every now and again but it doesn't seem to work very often.
Isn't it lovely now its stopped raining and we have some sun, we are really enjoying getting outside and getting a bit of a tan before the beach weather really arrives. we are coming back to the SPCA next Tuesday for a visit and a weigh-in, so we will get to see all our human friends and say hello to everyone.
We are feeling so much better now & we will let you know how our weight check goes next week.

Glad to see that all is going well! Are you in a good mood at your foster home? Or are you in a bad mood just because your not getting the same amount of food and treats that you use to. You must eat the amount of food you are given...do you want to go to the beach looking like the best dog or would you rather stay home and stuff your mouth with dog biscuits? Hi Jade and everyone in Room 16! It's great to hear from you. Yes, we know that everyone is just trying to help us with our new diets, but boy, sometimes it's hard! We were used to getting lots and lots of snacks and treats all day long, and now we just get one or two healthy snacks (as well as our proper meals).
I must say that Bert is looking much slimmer and I'm feeling much better without having to carry all that extra weight around.
So it's all good, really. Hope you have a nice rest-of-the-day and thanks again for writing to us!

Hi my name is Shivain.I go to Papatoetoe Central School in room 16.I just wanted to wish Bert and Erney all the best with there weiht losing progrem and I was wondering...are you dog's getting tierd of this weiht lost thingy.Because if I was a dog that loved junk food and I kept on eating it then I would get fat and I would have to take that weiht lost thingy and man I would be tierd and anoyed of it
